The Game Changer

Step-by-step checklist for starting, marketing and running successful basketball camps.

This Coronavirus thing is ridiculous! My world, as a basketball camp provider had been turned upside down.

The traditional, in-person, live basketball camps are no longer a valid option. Why? I can’t use a gymnasium, and I’m not able to assemble kids.

I’m stuck. I go into meditation for 72 hours. BAM! It hits me!

The game changer was born!

Instead of running basketball camps in-person, I’d do them virtually.

The online basketball camps would be even more comprehensive, as the structure and content would be as follows:

  1. Weekly skill development videos
  2. Weekly quote-of-the-week & life lesson videos
  3. Weekly conference & group coaching calls
  4. Weekly homework assignments
  5. Weekly skill development worksheets
  6. Access to community forum
  7. Video upload portal

Each week, after the weekly Zoom call and new skill development drills are released, the campers, independently work on their game (at home).

During the week, campers may still communicate with coaches by using the community forum. If help was needed with a specific drill, they could upload their video using the upload portal.

This program has been a game changer, and profitable!

When this program was first concocted, there were some naysayers. But I didn’t listen because I knew from experience, and my gut was telling me this was a winner.
